When God knocks on your heart you will know!

I can't even begin to tell you what has been going on in my life. It has felt as if my life is a bouncy ball. One day its up the next its down. Yet this year I am really coming out of the downs A WHOLE bunch better than I can ever explain. The only reason is because of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! He is truly showing me what I need to see.

Today I woke up not feeling so well. Not sure if its because I am coming down with a little cold or if its because of my allergies. Which ever it may be I was just feeling like I am missing out. Should I have moved so far away from my family and friends. Am I really where I need to be where I want to be. Do you see the repetitive "I". There is a reason for that. It is not about me. It's about what God wants from me. Anyways I awoke from my nap very upset. And I prayed Lord I just want you to talk to me.

So I looked at my bible and said hmm.. Lets just go ahead and open it. Well I like to just skim through the pages and then just pick a page. This time I closed my eyes and just opened. And to my surprise I read Ezra 3: 1-6. However in my bible the New King James version was a page that talks about Zerubbabel. This is what I read:

"Sometimes God's ownership of a project is only recognized after our best efforts have failed. It is dangerous to think of God as responsible for the insignificant details while we take charge of the larger aspects of a project. Instead it is God who is in control and we only play a part in his overall plan. When God gives us important jobs to do, it isn't because he needs our help. Zerubbabel learned this lesson."

It goes on to talk about Zerubbabel's story. This is what just really made me just start to cry because I know God was totally talking to me:

"We do not know what Zerubbabel did during this time. His discouragement, following those first months of excitement and accomplishment, must have been deep. Those feelings eventually hardened into hopelessness. So God sent the prophets Haggai and Zechariah to be Zerubbabel's encouraging companions. They confronted the people's reluctance and comforted their fears. The work began once again with renewed energy and was completed in four years.

Zerubbabel, like many of us, knew how to start well but found it hard to keep going. His success depended on the quality of encouragement he received. Zerubbabel let discouragement get the better of him. But when he let God take control, the work was finished. God is always in control. We must not let circumstances of lack of encouragement slow us from doing the tasks God has given us."

I can't even begin to tell you how completely humbled I felt. I know what I need to do and not let my discouragement that I have placed upon myself get the better of me. God is in control and I know He will get me through this journey.

Take a look and reflect.

Good afternoon.. well 15mins til the afternoon.

So I have been really missing my friends and family. Especially my mom since she is in Vegas celebrating her B-day. She lives about 4 hours south of me. So I don't see her a lot. But honestly I think I see her more than when I lived 30 mins away from her. Anyway as I was working on a project I remembered I hadn't done my devotion yet. Well I am doing a devotion called: living in ... The Active Word with Pastor Bob Coy. Can I tell you this devotion is absolutely AMAZING!! I am on Day 39 - Are We Better Off? 1 Corinthians 1:5 NKJV ....you were enriched in everything by Him. For those not sure what this is about it is about God and how we are enriched by everything He does in our life. Any ways Pastor Bob gives a couple of questions to ask ourselves about what God has done in our lives. These couple of sentences I just want to share with you:

"In fact, when we honestly examine our lives in Christ we have to admit that there isn't a single area of our lives worth keeping that He hasn't been enriching and improving. Take some time today and reflect on the goodness of God. Consider all He has done for you and in you. Remember the place He took you from and compare it to where He has brought you to today. Thank Him for the fact that He has enriched your life in everything. "

Really do this for yourself and you will just have such a humbling and joyful smile because the Lord has truly worked in your life. What an absolutely amazing feeling.

God Bless

~~WOW~~

So I just got back from taking a little drive. And my heart is just filled with love and appreciation for God and all that he does. He is truly working in my life and I feel so blessed and humbled. He is so amazing, all you have to do is trust him. Once you do this seem to feel so right, things fall into place. Even when your scared it just is so right.... He shows you not to be scared and how much He loves you and how much He protects you day in and day out. No matter what time, no matter what circumstance He is there. Just AMAZING!! I am in complete awe... Thank you God for working in my life! I pray that you work in everyone's heart and that they begin to understand the love you have for them.

Hello Monday

Hola my fellow readers!

I hope that you had a fantastic weekend. As for me I had an awesome one. Super relaxed and felt like a mini vacation. Just hung out by the pool and relaxed. Who doesn't need that and right about now it feels like I should be doing that again. Unfortunately its back to work week so that means lots are in stored.

Buddy (my dog) is feeling a lot better. His lump is gone which is fantastic. Hopefully it will stay gone. Have to pray for that one so we don't have to spend more money on a surgery. But whatever God's will is that's what He has in store for us.

I am going to be a busy bee this week. I had a meeting with the boss and had to fill up the whole schedule. I haven't had a schedule like that in the longest time. At least it is stuff I like to do which makes it that much easier. *Glance at Agenda book* I have done everything on the schedule with 3 minutes to spare! WHOOHOO! Now its time for Job #2.

I will be back to post some more. Keep a smile on your face by the time you blink it will be the weekend again!

Joyfulness

What a great day! Its has been a really fun and laid back day. I played Boggle with my mom in law. Boggle is probably my fave board game. I totally rock with that game. It's kinda sickening sometimes. I just find words within seconds I am continuing to write more and more words. It was a good game though.

So today I feel totally blessed. It was an awesome day. Filled with so much real emotions. Some that you take for granted. A clear mind to just look at life in a brand new way. Who wouldn't want that?
Positivity is an amazing thing, and so is joyfulness. Did you know that you can have your happiness taken away from you, but your joyfulness will never be taken away... Its one of the fruits of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22:23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
This just makes me smile to know that it is such a gift to have these things given from God. God amazes me each day and reminds me to stop focusing on the "what ifs and negativity" and to start understanding the small things in life.
Nighty night. =)
